AHF Coffee Talk: Leveraging Mobile Ordering

A mobile ordering platform is moving from a convenience to a necessity. As operators are faced with labor shortages, mobile platforms can truly shift the paradigm of how operators see dining in the healthcare environment. Kevin Steffes, Director of Food Services at Carle Foundation, will share his own experiences and how he uses technology to be able to continue to provide multiple offerings while being faced with shifting needs and labor challenges.

MEET THE SPEAKER:

Kevin Steffes
Carle Foundation Hospital 
Kevin Steffes is currently the Director of Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. With over twenty years of experience in the food service industry, he knowledge and skills to manage multiple sites while ensuring the highest level of customer and client satisfaction. Prior to working at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Kevin held roles at Sodexo, Ruby Tuesdays, Applebee’s and Taco Bell, giving him a wealth of knowledge across the industry. Kevin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995.
