MEET THE SPEAKER:

Dan Henroid
Henroid Advisory Group
Dan is the founder and principal of the Henroid Advisory Group. Prior to this company, he was the system director of the Department of Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Health system for 19 years where he was responsible for patient meal services at five hospitals totaling 1562 licensed beds, ten retail food operations with a combined sales of $16 million, catering and conference services with annual sales of $2 million, 5 gift shops with annual sales of $2.5 million plus oversight of inpatient and outpatient nutrition services. He has overseen the creation or renovation of all retail food outlets at UCSF and oversees other nontraditional programs such digital signage, an interactive patient experience system, a patient self-service meal ordering program, and a fleet of 33 robots. In addition to these responsibilities, he served as the UCSF Health system sustainability officer.

Isabel is a Sustainability Analyst at UCSF Health, where she advances zero waste initiatives, leads sustainability reporting, and supports climate action planning. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego in 2017.

Mikayla is a Sustainability Analyst at UCSF Health, where she works on climate resilience planning, sustainability reporting, emissions reductions, and improving waste circularity at the UCSF Health Medical Centers. Mikayla received her bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego in 2022 with a major in Environmental Systems: Environmental Policy and a minor in Climate Change Studies.
